Experiencing November 17th 1989 through music & speeches on Wenceslas square.

For many years, on November 17th, we have been meeting on Wenceslas square – a place where history was made and where our society’s journey towards freedom and democracy began in 1989. In 2019, we experienced the largest celebration of the Velvet Revolution ever. Wenceslas square hosted more than 131 thousand unique visitors throughout the night, while hundreds of thousands more watched our live broadcast.

The young Czechoslovakian jazz scene meets world-renowned progressive artists.

We love jazz. Just like we love artists capable of crossing borders of genres. We always listen, and every time we hear something new & brave, something unheard by our jazz-hungry ears, we try to bring it to you. We are happily evolving the Czech jazz scene since 2009. Mladí ladí jazz also features the educational programme called Mladí ladí dětem, made for children & parents, as well as for teachers interested in alternative music education.

Music everywhere, a celebration of culture in public space.

The Praha žije hudbou festival brings culture to the streets of Prague. This event transforms dozens of locations across the city into small open-air music spots. The line-up combines big names, as well as buskers and up & coming talent. This unique live experience is part of a long-term effort to support live art in public spaces. Praha žije hudbou goes by a simple mantra: art belongs into the streets.

Students to students! A musical incubator of the up & coming generation

Student Fest is a celebration of youth, freedom and most importantly the student community – on & off stage. Since its first edition in 2009, Student Fest became the biggest student event in the country, featuring dozens of concerts, theatre shows, performances and exhibitions by young artists, as well as talks, workshops, happenings & much more. Student Fest is an annual event bringing together a community of thousands of high school students across Prague.
